There were 170km sceduled for the stage of today in South-Spain. After 39km Ten Brinke felt vibration in the car. At the half of the stage Ten Brinke and his co-driver Colsoul decided to return to the bivaque so they could protect the material for more damage.

“After 80km i felt vibration in the drivetrain of the car. The front differential is probably broken. It’s a shame, we had a good chance of getting another top 3 in this stage.”

Ten Brinke and Colsoul will continue the rally to prepare themselves for the Dakar Rally altough they won’t compete for a result anymore.
